EMERGENCY: MY DOG IS FOAMING?

I can only tell you what I would do, if I was in your situation. I would definitely take the puppy to a 24 hour Emergency Vet and have her checked out. You do not know if this is Life Threatening or not and if she will make it until morning. Why take a chance? Foaming at the mouth does not necessarily mean, that the dog has Rabies. She could possibly be having Seizures and if she is, the sooner you get her to a vet, the sooner you can find out what kind of Seizures she may be having, what is causing them and what you need to do , to get the seizure under control. Poor dog has already been through a lot if she had Parvo and is lucky to have survived that.

No reputable breeder or shelter would have ever adopted out a parvo puppy. Ever. Good breeders would have had the puppy vaccinated before letting puppies leave the nest.

Take her to another vet for a second opinion. It sounds like a seizure disorder.

If the vet didn't mention anything about seizures then find a different vet. This is not something you can wait on.

The only one who might be able to save Coco is the emergency vet. If he can't get her seizures under control, she will die.

If you are that worried, please get your dog to an emergency veterinary hospital. You can call Information at 4-1-1 and get the phone number and address of the nearest one IF this is a real question.

Ok... if the dog was under four pounds when you bought it, it may have some trouble. i am not sure how old she is so.. ya. i heard somewhere that the foam is like the backup from the intestines... my maltese was foaming up yellow stuff as well. i know this did not help... so sorry!! <
